Ok I gotta hate the ml right now. All he had to do was get her out of there and all would've been maybe not ok but she wouldn't be dead and the king wouldn't have been able to prove it was him. But naw he wanted to hesitate and talk and now look what happened....not a good moment ml

you hate him because he wanted to take a few days to plan how to get her out of there instead of just taking her now, make a mistake and potentially have his wife, and family tortured and killed after the emperor found out who did that sloppy job?

He wasn't taking a candy, you dumbnuts, he was taking a hurt person, on a dress, that's zero capable of jumping walls or hiding as well as he is or running.
The amount of security from that palace to anywhere else, one wrong movement and then she gets killed and so is his family.

@Rose McCloud do you even know how things work? They are under the rule of a tyrant and someone who's already planning to kill the mls whole house.. Immediately? Is that even possible, like bruh?.. it's really sad how much she suffered but immediate escape is just impossible.. It shows how scary it is to live under Tyranny..analyze or try to analyse the situation properly.. don't just read cz ur bored
@2Dsimp I do read this books because I am bored...like we all do.thats what they are for. If it was any bit of realistic the whole situation to begin with would be different but it's not, it's a world of fiction and pleasant entertainment. Do I feel with all the other stuff the writer got going on they should've been able to find a way to save that character, yes I do because I wanted chick to live. It doesn't mean I don't get the situation or that it might not have been possible I just wanted her to have a happy ending. Dang ppl it's not that serious. Lets not brow beat ppl for their opinions. Let continue to read and enjoy this work without the negativity yea?

@2Dsimp if I want to hate the ml at that moment I have the right to. Stupid or not. I come to read these books as a refreshing way to take a break from the world, to fall into a world of wonderful fantasy and appreciate the art of writing, not to get bashed on an opinion that can change next panel. Yes I know that some writers are inspired by real life situations or some just create spectacular realistic situations on their own. I'm not demeaning those real life situations either all I'm saying about a fantasy book that I'm reading is that I didn't like his decision. Flat out. Nothing more nothing less. Nothing tied to real life, not a political statement just plain ol jeez that sucks.
