The grandma isn't seriously injured and even told Mathias to let go of the incident and forgive uncle bill but that psycho use this opportunity to blackmail Leyla. He told her, he will only forgive uncle bill and let him out the jail if she does what he ask, and we all know what that is. With no options left and with feeling in-depth of uncle Bill's generosity of taking care of her till then she did what that psycho asked and then uncle bill is out of jail.
