@K From a manager's perspective, it's just easier to fire one person compared to a group. If they fired the group they would have to give severance pay to every person in the group, not to mention all the manpower they'd lose, and the time it would take to find new employees to fill the gap. It's a shi*** practice, but unfortunately managers tend to put money before people.
