Oho....now I get it. Like he said, he suddenly has 40 teeth....about being a buddha and in other series like murim, Not all buddhas are good(this is like an upgrade for sweet talkers/manipulators). They're more evil than good. The "Good and Kind" as their facade so in this series, he was portrayed as...a good....not just good but a kind speaker like a father talking to a child to soothe its soul.
What I mean is, since he arrived in that world, he must've been like unconsciously became the demon lord's butler. Everytime a customer comes in, he's starting to think psychologically but terrifyingly and accurately make out theories and helps them when he's giving advice.
What if its Inky is the one making him have that kind of thinking capability and unknowingly making his customers misunderstand that he's someone who's omnipotent or somethin' like that.
Like for example, what he sees is the book as something ordinary. But when he's giving advice and giving the "ordinary" book, a totally different book or expressions was being seen by them. Like a devil's trick. Its like he became a tool, or somewhat similar to that to disguise or use it as a disguise so that it won't come out suspicious. In result of him being revered and all that's why in his pov, he was being misunderstood.
