@Raka Mukherjee real, If I was him I would've definitely try to commit, or, just the fit the mood (because If I was him and did really "like" the love interest (ithinkk??)) I would've tried to 'persuade' the guy and threaten to kill myself, or do something for the li to even realize whats at stake and and or what he should start thinking on.
