@Barbie fan bad take, self preservation is the strongest instinct for most creatures, it takes a very strong will to overcome that, that's why most of us worship Firefighters. Princess did what anyone would do.
@Kazooie It's understandable, but it doesn't excuse leaving information out when she's not even in danger anymore. THE LEAST she could do is tell Freya how she usually behaves, her relationship with others, and any other type of knowledge she has. It's a miracle Freya managed to deceive everyone when Lucia provided no information what so ever.
@AnUnknownPerson I dunno. From what I've seen. It was if they were not even trying to get to know the princess. Nurturing is important even for royals. maybe that's why she's such a mess.
