For someone who involve in a new environment with some strange power fighting to come back to their world I think this is normal. Meeting someone precious for the first time since you've been struggling all along and not wanting to hurt them is normal. Staying with them would give them more problems so you would just be a bad person and lie to get away. Y'all got low EQ to judge this.
