What he said, but she didn't actually have different hair. What happened was the Monarch's Sight power, somehow allowed her to be temporarily teleported to where Tarkan was on the beast plains, where she helped him survive. It's not really explained why, but for whatever reason, she looked different in her teleported form, with the blonde hair and all.
