@Chives Yes! I'm really enjoying seeing other people see his growth, even if it's just a little bit!
He really could have blown up after being humiliated in his field (which I think we can all argue is a nightmare scenario,) and the one guy he does trust, because obviously he does, might be trying to throw him under the bus and it's a hard hit and I love that we see that in how he curbs his anger at the end of the scene and leaves instead. It's subtle but I feel like it's really smart storytelling.
