I'm 75% sure his Dad beat him with a golf club after he beat up the predatorial professor. And he continues to hit and hurt his child. Why are you talking about their relationship as like a cute quirky thing because it's not. It's literally just downplaying abuse.
Plus, I'm pretty sure the only reason that he's caring for him is because he is supposed to be the heir to the company. Or at least work for the company he owns.
@Olive this "abuse" is very common here in Asian countries so usually these things are considered funny knowing that everyone will relate to it. i know it shouldn't be normalised but it is what it is
@Your mom I agree with you. As an Asian...I was beaten up by mom until I was like what till 7th grade. Then she just scolds and taunts. The hitting isn't severe, it's a little like to put you on the right path....trust me...I grew up with strict parents(they're pretty coolnow, kinda) and seeing some of classmates in the major city in country, going to club sleeping around, vaping, fake ids....I am glad my parents are strict....
@Olive nah ik it's weird but it's pretty normalized around here. My mom still hits me, she ain't gonna stop till I graduate college I think lol.. or until I'm away from home enough for her to miss me.
