Y'all are missing something. I think Jaekyung has trauma. Rich people suffer too,they just mask it with money and a ass**** personality. His insistence to fight despite his injury his hinting at something deeper. Perhaps he's looking for someone? He prolly thinks if he's always in the spotlight they could find him instead?
We all just know he has a Jinx but how did his Jinx come about in the first place? Could that be the reason he's possesive over Dan but won't acknowledge his feelings or show it in anyway? I bet that worn out keyholder has a meaning too. Is it like Jaekyung to not have noticed and changed it when every other single thing in the house is all new and shiny(which means he doesn't do tacky at all)?

And I didn't say everything Jaekyung has done should be excused with his trauma. I merely stated what i observed from this chapter and the ones before that Jaekyung also might be struggling with something and his life might not have been as entirely perfect and without hurdles as we have been seeing from the first chapter. And i only pointed it out coz no one seemed to be noticing that there's something currently wrong with him.
@Mel and how sure are you that he was traumatized as a rich man and not when he was fightig his way to the top? Have you heard mention of any of his family so far? Has the author ever hinted at him being a chaebol? Did you know if he was poorer than Dan before and suffered to get to where he is. The real world is not any better darling,there are the biggest assh**** even out here. No matter how he got his money,it's his right to use it however he wants,whether to use it to help without strings attached or not,if he falls in love during the process and denies his feeling that's his right too. If it's soo easy to get the money and just squander it on everyone who needs it then Dan wouldn't also be suffering and will have his own money too,sheesh. Love doesn't automatically make things better,it takes some time and patience too and this would be from Dan's side. It'd be better if jaekyung changes and acts properly but if he doesn't Dan can walk away on his own two legs he's not held a captive is he? Mind you,I'm not actually supporting Jaekyung,I'm just tryna say things aren't just black and white just coz you have sympathy for Dan who doesn't have money and Jaekyung who has money,there's a whole other shades mixed in.
I don't have money too😭,there's a whole lotta rich people around me who watch me struggle while living their best life in front of me,and when i ask for help,they pretend they don't hear or understand and offer me useless solutions. It's humiliating andIt hurts,but I'm not bitter at them. It's their money,I didn't sweat for it with them. It's the same way I'll make my own decisions too when i have money. I won't give a flying Fu ck whoever talks smack about me then.
