And in the og novel the ml(mag) found the fl(pink haired girly) when he ran away and she helped him then blah blah blah they fall in love, mag murders his siblings bc they were fuc**** shi***(they literally tried to kill him when he was younger and bullied him) so he becomes the emperor. After that he comes after lylia and executes everyone who helped her infront of her then torutred her in gruesome ways and killed her. The og novel was technically a healing and revenge story (ml learning how to love in a non toxic way+getting rid of his rei addiction+gets revenge on lylia and others)
