@blu bruh obviously I know that , I also hate sm** scenes used arbitrary, but this whole thing about the egg is bullshit they could've come up with more interesting bridal test , or a 3th person coming to the plot to compete with caious over kuishi , there's a lot of alternatives to keep the plot going and keeping it exciting for readers at the same time .
This is my personal opinion 

@Haruka if it's boring, drop it 🤷 the plot is simply for kouichi to become the bride and he's going through obstacles to get there lmfao. It's not bs, it's apart of the story
