The MC in this had to watch his mother die, was blamed endlessly for being born and was kept in poor conditions while being abused by everyone from the staff to his own siblings, and on top of that the healers guild he was in treated him like garbage so he obviously has major trauma and i dont blame him for being scared or wimpy every now and again so i have to disagree with you... IS WHAT I WOULD SAY IF HE DIDNT HAVE A ABILITY SPECIFICALLY TO NULLIFY THIS!
I honestly agree with you (because i now know you had a problem with his mindset not the actual affect of the stats) since the whole point of his passive Iron heart skill is to prevent this, now i get it his iron heart is only like rank D right now (Despite using it a ton i mean it needs to be at least rank C by now) But when it was literally A rank temporarily he still couldnt even talk at first when in front of his brother???
