I think it is just the way they are translating it, the translation  叫爸爸 means “call me dad”, it’s about same sense of “call me boss” but the attitude is really difference, since father is a person that can give your life control your life and have all honor above you, if someone tell you this in China, it means “you are so weak/low”, “you lost to me and I have power totally totally over you”, something like that, but sometimes between best friends you can joke like this in a funny way, but generally it’s a funny way of saying “you lost to me you weak”.
