I think Jubelian misunderstood at that scenario, maybe his father gave it to her for her to escape🤔
I agree. He will rather die than let his daughter suffer. I hope she realize how much her father cares for her.
Jubilee misunderstood, he gave her that knife because its probably a special kind of knife that can break the cage. He gave her the knife so she can escape, but what he didn't know is that he did not gave her parental love to her whole life making her not trust him.
