I dont know if this is right or offending but why the he** does, like in every manhwa, or just some manhwa lets say. Why the he** does the girls always so pretty, perfect, hot body, curves body, big breast, but the boys is just fat or skinny, the bangs is not good, some starts in a very ugly fcae, why the he**? Just because they are girls? Do boys always like this? If not antagonist, then not handsome or hot or cool? Actually almost all of the action manjwas i read is always like this. Even though i like the story and art sometimes

@Ellianne maybe cause the author dont want the gay a** fans ship the male characters ? bl fans is wild asf bro they just shipped everyone who they think is hot so maybe thats why author make some male charac look trash but relax there's still most of them that are handsome
@Ellianne i think it's a mix of what @bystander said and sexism/misoginy. I guess a male character can have a wider range of atractiviness to be taken seriously or respected or to be interesting and liked than a female one, who has to be really atractive to maybe be considered any of those things, like being pretty it's the only value they can or need to have.
