stupids weapon for a fight ageinst zombies? a knife. the range is to short, the dmg you can do with it its not enough and if you try to punch the pointy end in to the head, the probablity that it gets stuck or breake is realy high. a stone would be a better weapon than a knife. best weapon would be a mace or a hammer with a long grip.

@dontlookatme good weapons would be any the following (if sturdily made):
Spears.
Polearms like halberds and partisans.
Rondel paired with tac gloves.
Great-/long/basterd type swords.
Most firearms 9mm and above .
Warhammer and any axes that were meant for war .
Tridents and pollaxes.
Most kitchen knives are made of either brittle materials or don't have the backbone for piercing skulls

@Armageddon personaly, i like spears and halberts. but in a zombicalypse they are useless. to long to be used for groupfigths were the enemy dont fears death. to heave for long battles,
same goes with partisans, triedents and pollaxes.
axes are not so good, better than swords, sabers and so stuff, but too heavy.
firearms, worst weapon ever. even a bow is a better range weapon in a zombicalypse than every gun. they are to loud, the sound would lure all zombies in several hundert meter range to you,
rondel is a dagger or did i google it wrong? if yes its the same bad choise like using a kitchen knife.
warhammer was the only good choise you had, BUT just if you use one that is not so heavy that you loose the breath after swinging it for some minutes. a bat or a morningstar would be good weapons too.
and NEVER use a dager, kinife, or anything else to pirce the skull, your weapon would get stuck or breakes, and you would need to much power to pirce it, that would just tire you faster out.
like he did say, a stone would be a better weapon, you can smash the head with it and even if you trow it or loose it, you can pick up just another one.

@pi a rondel is dagger that's made for piercing through hard objects like skulls and chainmail,they typically have 3 or more sides.
Firearms are for making a path through .multiple zombies when you need to move,the advantage of it is that if you shoot and then move away,the zombies will be moving away from where you going.
Bows are more difficult for headshots,fyi.

like i did say, guns are the worst in a zombicalypse. to loud and kure mobs from several HUNDERTS OF METERS. if you shoot it in a zombie filled city, they will come from all around you and you will have no place to flee, becouse they dont wait and swam to the place in 1 wave, they will com like a flood.
warhammers, i know, but i have seen ppl who used heavy ones whos wights were over 10 pounds, they thought bigger and heavyer is better....fools.

if you wear gloves, something EVERYONE has at home, than you wont hurt your hand. most have normal gloves for winter, ather garden gloves, cooking gloves, or just some towel that u use to protect you hand. but tbh, i would use a stone just if i had no ather chance. and it would still be a better weapon than a spear or a gun.

ps: if you shoot it outside of a city, in a rural enviroment, the sound will even reach further, a lot further, if you are unlucky you could lure zombies from several kilometers, BUT THERE you have a chance to run and hide before the zombies come close to you......if you are lucky and no zombie was close enough to see you! and each time you do this, the chance of geting cought will rise.
yeah bow and arrows are hard to handle and need a lot of training, several times more than with a gun. but if you are experienced with using them, they are as accurat as a gun. my best was hitting almost the bullseye that was in a distance of 100m, and i am not realy experienced. i just wanted to try building a bow and shooting it, it was becouse of boredoom and for fun.
but there are alternatives, crossbows, slingshoots (and yes, there are some who are almost as strong as small caliber hand guns), and so on.
and if you are inexperienced, even with the best guns you will have it hard to shoot a headshot that is just 10m away. and with a rifle, the same at everything that is just 30-50m away. in that ocasion i would preffer a bow becouse till i would hit the head with the gun, a zombieflood would swam over me becouse of the sound. and i could use the bow if needed as a bat.

@Trash 1st, i liked cold wepons, i build cold wepons, i used different kinds of cold wepons. all something every one could do if he would have fun to try.
2nd, i know how to fight.
3rd, i did read a lpt of books and watched a lot of movies/series/animes, some of them were about different kinds of zombies.
4th, i have a strong imagination.
5th, all together helps my imagination to let me see, in my mind, how i would fight zombies, how i could protekt myself, what would i do in a world infested with zombies, and so on and so forth.
yeah i know, zombies how they are in the tv are not real and i would never had to fight them. BUT who cares? it helps to kill the time wile waitng for something else intrest to helps fight the boredoom^^
