Bible Angels were unfriendly towards humans, and quick to harm humans for their goals.
Only since the Middle Ages onwards. Have angels been given a human look (not Chthulian Terrors with millions of eyes; bodies of violence and fire; nor Sam Tucker Tier Chimeras), and a pop culture view that made them "pro human" and "good guys" on a human perspective.
