I'm so how would that work for an asexual aromantic who doesn't feel love? Do we just not get to pass on to the afterlife then?

@Nina Lowenthal I think it counts for any type of love, even platonically..but in this case it seems that MC really isn't attached to anyone at all even family. So yeah ace people can pass to the afterlife, the face they'd see would just not be a romantic partner but perhaps a friend or a family member?
