I'm quite far in the novel already so don't really rem that much. But Zulu was about to die from a fight.. then this fake Zulu asked if he got any last words/wish..

Zulu then said his wife is pregnant n hungry at home. Then this fake Zulu took his looks and went back to Su yan.. 

Kinda sad that he died

its not a snake its a ghost phoenix in the novel zulu kills a demon and is dying in return and the phoenix finds him and furfills his request of watching over his wife im on chapter 1000 something in the novel rn im really just here for art reference lol
