@Isekai_Traveler I'd expect a demon would be a stronger vessel for an evil g** than a random out of shape human. The g** seeming stronger here makes sense.
But what's with the nonsense short fight? Couldn't this have progressed into a proper, more difficult fight than last time that Cain still wins? It would have served the same narrative purpose (Cain needs to get stronger, since even fragments of the antagonist are getting stronger) w/o being a joke fight.

@Isekai_Traveler He didn't fight Arlong in that one, he fought the marquis who was just empowered by the fragment. In this instance, Arlong took over the body, which wasn't able to handle it.
@Isekai_Traveler I think it's because that demon lord swallowed a bigger fragment
