Letme ask you, how would you feel if your parents left you at a young age all of a sudden, without thinking twice, just with your servent and a so called grandmother that did nothing much! Sorry if I sounded rude. And I do half agree with your opinion.

@Readers_NightMare look, I completely understand how sh*tty his parents acted. And I also understand how heartbroken he is since I also grew up with emotionally detached parents. But still, this trauma makes no effort to make us understand why he became an assh*le. I mean, it would be more sensible if his parents were both manipulative, abusive and then left him alone. Then he would grew up to think that people are worthless despite the love his maid and grandma gave. (And even if that was the case, the one I wrote, trauma just explains the behaviour, not excuses it. And this trauma, the one in the story, doesn't even explains it well.)
