This chapter is weak. Lin could've escaped to the Abyss seeing that crystal still works. But he doesn't because he believed the summoning wasn't good enough to bypass the restrictions, making his enemy weak enough to be beaten. However he's the one getting beaten, when he already saw he misjudged his opponent power.
Apparently Lin as a mc is getting too smug for his own good, and if he ends up retreating to the Abyss in the next chapter, then finally this character will have shown he isn't that much of a genius as characters keep calling him.
The moment he deployed his boss summons and they weren't holding out as long as he expected, that was the moment to bail out to the Abysss, recover, level up, and then return to do a good @$$ whooping on matchstick.
