@DarkVikita Just imagine how much of an uproar the emperor would've caused losing the two powerhouse if both of them left. Moreover, I'm sure she was being watched so going to visit them would be more dangerous. Both made their decisions and whether we want to agree or not both protected MC in their own way with that decision. If they both left with the child they wouldn't have a moment of peace and would spent their lives on the run with her. Who to tell that the mother doesn't secretly wants a relationship with MC but decided to keep her distance because of the guilt of staying behind. Who to say she didn't remarried to lead the emperor astray that she knew nothing of their whereabouts. Yes she gave away their location in the end but now she has another child she had to protect. I'm sure she knew MC would be safe with her father's protection.

@SonELF  first and foremost she do not care about the main character because if she cared about the main character she would never let the main character to be found out second of all she treated her daughter like you're the problem I hate you why are you here because if she cared about main character she would never said oh I don't want to see you daughter ever I don't want to be anywhere in her life and then when she is here to make sure that she would have never treated that look like she was a problem she made it seem like the main character was the problem is she was not she do not care about that girl at all none of her actions are saying that she wanted to protect the main character or do anything for the main character
