@Dewani90   Well ... technically darkness is faster than light.  Since it forms from either an absence of light, or an obstruction to light.  Darkness is so fast that it forms before light can travel to it's location and buy a time share on it's turf.

Kiddo, you might be as fast as the wind, but darkness seems to be faster than light... so have some ...

@Ashanna Hensley (Ren) No, darkness speed is the same as the light speed. like you said darkness is the absence of light, so the darkness or shadows only manifest after the fotons. if you cut a stream of fotons, the "darkness" will go after the last foton and will only get there at the same speed of light.
