If she runs away, where would she go. Her father would hunt her down. She's a six circle, but if she is faced with eight other six circle, how is she to win while protecting her brother.
She's lived her whole life being abused, is her trauma irrelevant or exaggerated because she's a woman. Our MC didn't even learn magic because he was too scared but somehow that's more understandable than a young girl doing her best to protect her brother. As long as she does what they want, he will be fine. Resistance will only be met with more force. It's annoying but realistic. Yeah incels, women haters and idiots
