guys i was reading a bit of spoilers and show this sentence

There is something about the FL, Odette, which just really chaps Bastian's a**. Chaps it right raw. It brings out the worst in him, and he finds his sadistic tendencies wake up around her. The thing he hates the most is "useless" "aristocratic pride" and the sight of this girl possessing pride and grace despite his circumstances makes him want to put her in her place and break her of it.
