I mean, I can't say much, but basically 35 gods ridiculed and made fun of Xie Lien bc of him having ascended 3x, him making a living off of collecting scraps as a human and being called the "G** of Scraps" or smth idk, and all in all, just bullying him. So Hua Cheng proposed a battle amongst those gods, two declined so he fought 33 high level martial gods, which meant they were very strong. he beat all of them and then proceeded to go down to earth and burn down every single one of their temples simultaniously (i think-), this techniclly taking away all of their powers bc gods get their power from the prayers their followers on earth do for them. he has been dedicated to xie lien for over 800 years and it warms my heart. but ofc youd understand better if u read the manga, bc im not that good at explaining things-
