@joshua  To be fair, MC did rescue her (and the others) from a dangerous situation involving a mobster. And she did witness MC beat up said mobster's thugs. Besides that, she was already slightly interested in him before with his good looks and how he used "divination" to tell her that he knew she wanted to study a certain subject and attend a specific university, something nobody but her mother should know. On top of that, there was how MC thoroughly defeated "Big Si" in that martial arts match, which is all over school.

I mean, is it really surprising that a girl his age would try to get close to him after all that?
