@Reader His father tried to kill Jitae when he was little and the accident made the mc lose his memories due to trauma. Jitae loves mc but doesnt want him to get into this mess and remember traumatic memories so he is letting him go for his own safety. He is gonna help his father and him go somewhere far away so his greedy mother cant touch him.
