@Kunnie probably because they want to keep a record of everything they read and if they ever come back to this site to reread it they can know when they read it the last time

@diva it's gonna take years, compare the first chapter to the new update, there's like 2 or so years now. Since the novel is 502 chapters it's also expected that this will end around 500, that would take.. 3 or 4 years to end, that is if the artist won't get tired on drawing this

@Kunnie And you're correct, completing this webtoon will indeed take considerable time (I've also read the novel so I would know this). But what's the connection between this and people feeling compelled to note when they began reading something?
