Yeah, no this is a horrible mindset, he's indulging her whims while encouraging her to ignore the lesson she was on the cusp of learning. It'd be one thing if he told her to go and try since it's already locked in, but to double down on her views while ignoring reality is just going to make her dependent on him cleaning up her messes. I mean for f*s she was almost s*x trafficked, that should require introspection into how she left herself vulnerable enough to be used.
