@Сергей Давыдов let's not get too illiterate here. This narrative goal was foreshadowed chapters ago when the Invincible Swordsman showed what it looked like to achieve The Ultimate. It was then reinforced when Korin's teacher told him "you have everything you need, it just needs to be realized." Korin just needed the right impetus to strip away all the distractions away from what he needed to do, and being on the brink of death helped bring that revelation forward
