Like acc to what we know so far (and acc to what I've been overthinking) the subspace depicts tge person's deepest fears and deep down thie knows how hard it probably was for people around her. She never processed it in this way because shes just 4 but the subconscious mind knows and a subspace built on the fears wouldn't exactly be all fake but probably a slightly aggravated version of the truth.
