Not really sure what the reader is meant to get out of the story so far, I hate the 'ML' and the MC. Is it just supposed to be a revenge story where you feel less bad about the abuse/toxicity because they're both miserable people? If so they should've made the 'ML' a little more likeable. He's basically cheating on the only innocent adult in the story and hurting his innocent kids. The MC is really gross for how he doesn't even feel remorse for what he did, he only cares about himself and their weird stockholm relationship.
