@Baek Siyun if you had looked at his expressions like heli did then you can see that ,he is a loyal man who is still miserable and knows that he will get discarded without a second thought even after all the loyalty. It wouldn't have pained him to die for his master if not for the fact that even after all the loyalty he couldn't be someone special for his master (as in case of a person getting recognition). So I think that if he didn't knew that he was disposable,he wouldn't have left him like that
