I might be playing devil's advocate here, but I don't feel as exhausted by this story as the rest, given that we don't really know the MLs backstory as well as he realized too late that she is the one going against his plans. I'm DEFINITELY not saying he is a good guy, for sure. It's just there are so many stories of murderer MLs that don't get the same negative responses from the readers like in "I failed to Oust the villain". I'm curious to see how this story changes the ML in his character development
