@Fujoshi but that just means that even if he was rude or pushed people away, nobody really understood him or wanted to be there despite everything. we saw this very often in such stories

@Alisa Dmitrieva Yeah but we don't see that in this story. The author doesn't really dive to deep into Duke's backstory but has shown he comes from a privileged background and wanted to be Shrauders disciple despite the image. He's shown as a betrayer so why apply your own backstory storyline?
