@AtomMaster kaido is an Ogre not a Giant

@FIRST BLACK KING   Also Ors, was a form of Ogre and Giant, ITs stated in this chapter that there are other tribes of Giants and types.  Ones that have horns or different colors. IT can be believed that the king also had another illegitimate child with a Giant from a different land like Wano that made Kaido.  The point is its believable and they would also ostracize there illegitimate child and leave them. So, one can believe it was someone like Kaido if he was an abandoned giant child like LIN LIN, who was left out in the world to fend for himself.  They even stated Lin Lin as a giant in previous chapters, but no one knew of her parents.   As the giants pirates roamed, they could've sired children in lots of locations and left them.

Not necessarily herald but this does explain kaidos lineage, hes probably a hybrid between a human and one of these horned giants
