@Choco his intuition must've made him too important to leave as an orphan. Maybe all the countermeasures against the nonstop rain were his ideas.

@Choco no prime ministers have been introduced so far. Only the maid and king. Plus, adopting gifted people into royalty without kids is common.

@Angel058 That's what I think. The king has no one who can be even a distant heir, and there's this kid with a "g**-given" gift of intuition (you know they PR'd the he** out of that) and who is pretty smart. They could've pulled what Prince Edward did in the movie A Knight's Tale and "through careful research" cough cough have discovered he had a noble bloodline, to satisfy the nitpickers.
