I think some people are confused but I think I understand a little bit and no the chapters aren't messed up.
The eve that is in this chapter is the "eve" Adam forgot. Basically the "eve" from chapter 1 when they first met. We are going through the forgotten memories of Adam all because he wanted to find out if he ever had any side affects to the medicine. Though he did not know he was going to find all of this in his memories. So yeah that's basically what's going on now I think😭. Don't qoute me on it
