As it was in JJK, Gojo Satoru had to die or be sealed for the plot to progress... Ren Yamashiro must suffer the same fate.

@TechnoDagger Same with Boruto, and practically every story with a plot not based on a yolo. There's absolutely no progress when you have monsters like them around.
Authors will have to either.
A: Create so many strong villains, that characters like Saitama, can not be at every place at once. Spread everyone out as thin as possible, allowing us to delay the op characters from getting involved too soon.
B: Seal them away. Effectively, just writing them out of the story. It's cheesy, and a copout. But it's the easiest way to deal with situations like Ren without making the story overly convoluted.
C: Make then as lazy as possible, so they don't want to get involved unless they have to. Allowing us to move characters around more easily, and not worry about accidentally creating villains like Madara with no way to deal with.
Characters like Ren/Gojo should not be in a story long term. It is a nightmare to deal with.
