This is why i personally never Assume that if someone skips school, Classes, or even work that they are doing so cause they are slacking or whatever bad reason ppl tend to give them.
you never know what someone is going through. And because of this I try to be very understanding of ppl in those situations especially.
im Not saying that the group assistant is bad, I'm just saying that I hope that this experience helps him understand to not judge immediately when it comes to a situation like that. Cause he knows the truth now but what about if he didn't know about the guys mother passing and what he might be going through... we don't always know neither do we have to know everything.
