@Midnight Wolf103 Acting like maria is a saggy old lady coddling a toddler. A vampire is essentially frozen in time. To them, years are just days. We've also learned the pairing are both vampires, so um. Okay. Not sure how this story will turn out but unfortunately hun, that gap is a nothingburger. People should experience comparable series if they sitting down lamenting over everlasting age gaps. In werewolf and vampire mythology, this trope is extremely prevalent. It's really not an issue, and not because it's "fiction" but rather, the obvious, that their reality functions diffrent than ours. Just Simply stop reading if it causes you discomfort.
