Does anyone feel like Micheol is such an unrealistic character? I can't fathom how he fell off the rails so bad. And how unrealistic is Ari's love for him??? But to be fair, Taeha's character is also very unrealistic.

@GummyBears There's actually a tons of women like Ari.....😅
@GummyBears He feels very realistic. I wrote something about him because he seemed extremely familiar to me and I’m not the only one who feels that way. Characters like that… I hope in the manga he’ll pay for it, but in real life, people like him would always find victims, like Ar or someone else.
@Llkkjj Not really. I mean he is a terrible person in the current time but when he was in highschool he seems like a really good person. I mean that there was really no signs of him being a terrible human being. A person doesn't do a 180 degree change. If some people argue, "oh he's just really good at hiding that he's a bad person." well this is a webtoon and the author hasn't shown him with any ill intent in the past. There were no red flags of him in the past. This is what I mean by not realistic.
Of course, I know that there are plenty of Micheols that exists in real life, but that's not what I am referring to. I'm referring to his character changes throughout his life. The shifts in characters are so different. Like 2 total different people, and I can't even see how the high school him became this current version. If they author written him with subtle red flags when he was in highschool, I can see it. But currently, he is very unrealistc.

@GummyBears honestly you would be surprise on how a person can change during their life. I witnessed a person that was so sweet before become total trash.
@Dezzzz.z.z But the thing is you don't know what is going on inside that person's head. Maybe that person you know was already trash before internally but are acting sweet. You're not that person so you can only judge on the outside (I'm talking about that person who you witness). I believe that when a person is a horrible adult, they probably have bad thoughts when they were younger, although they may still appear as sweet.
Cause this story is already told in third person omnicient, it's more realistic if they show Micheol's thoughts as a bit more twisted. And because Micheol was always with Haesoo, and she always treated him well, even if he turned into a bad person, I can't see why he would treat her poorly when they've been through everything together. That part just doesn't click. There's no reason for him to suddenly treat her so poorly when he was so sweet to her in high school and they've never been through any no contact before for him to change without her.

@GummyBears people change throughout life and a lot of high school sweethearts do not stay together also he literally put them both in debt and then was neglect her and cheated right after I feel like you giving him too much credit cause either way all the things he did was wrong and we just saw that he cheated cause he thought he could have both girls he is literally ignorant and self absorbed also in many chapters we saw what's went inside his head we didn't see everything but for the most part we saw some and even his thoughts didn't justify his actions
@Tookie I'm not giving him any credit lol. I'm not all saying that he's a good person so you don't need to explain what we all have already read. I don't think you understand what I'm saying so I'm gonna stop lol.
@GummyBears basically. when you spend so much time with someone your value for them starts to depreciate. This is usually the reason mose highschool sweethearts dont stay together, they havent matured enough to love each other in a way that will keep them together for years. He always loved her, even now he still loves her, but when you spend too much time on something special, it's just not speacial anymore now is it?
