From all the spoilers i have read, it shows he will not end up at the duke in the end, and its hella disappointing, am dropping after few more interesting parts

it drifted apart from the novel a few chapters ago so I think the ending here will be different since in the novel cliff was the duke and married another women and then Killian became a count in another estate with Edith but honestly I don't know where the he** the author wants to go with those changes
