(1/2) both of Ash and Lyle will get into a fight because of Lyle misunderstanding stuff, which is about Ash's ex, Hazel. Lyle heard one of Ash friends talking about Hazel, which Lyle didn't know about Hazel before, that Ash "promised" Hazel a future with him, which is marriage.
it was a lie caused by Hazel himself to make everyone think's that Ash and him (Hazel) are back together after they already broken up.
the reason why they broke up was Hazel cheating on Ash with other Alpha, and went together to USA (Hazel and his new Bf went to USA).
and Ash told everyone that Hazel wanted to "study abroad" in the USA and that's why they broke up.
nobody questioned what Ash said about this, but, everyone was kind of shocked and confused because why would they break up like this regardless them being the "perfect couple"
after Hazel came back from the USA to the UK. he wanted to reach Ash again so they can come back together and "start all over again".
after that Ash went to Hazel (which they met in Ash's work place) just to tell him that he doesn't want him in his life anymore and that he has a boyfriend whom he loves.
after Lyle knew where was Ash he wanted to go to him and talk to Hazel as well.
at the beginning Lyle was hesitant about him going in there (the room where Hazel and Ash were talking in) so he went back to the elevator before Ash sees him, but no, he decided to come back and fight his fear for the sake of love.
