So if only 1/2 the people can survive every round, by the end of the round there will only be 3 people left. But we saw in the first chapter that they need 5 people for the final round. I guess they have already failed. So I don't need to read the rest of the story

@Hmmm No, remember that they said all the areas merge when it gets small enough so they have plenty of people. And when they merge, I dont think they are gonna remove half each time anymore
@Hmmm no if u do the math properly and use the total number of people it comes down to like 1000 at the end but at the same time they might kill each other and lower the amount of people at the end so mayb
