@Kitsucchi He spiraled becasue Kana said Naho is not cute, but average. Yet Kana was saying that becasue he thought Naho is cute, and wanted his friends to not give Naho any more attention (to not have to compete for Naho's time).
Kana did want to spend some more time with Aoi, but it was just becasue Aoi was his best friend, and Aoi might go to another city to study after they go to highschool. In his mind it was very simple. Spend the time he has left with Aoi, but he didn't think was neglecting Naho since he knew or wanted to spend his whole life with Naho (as a lover).

@Dawn it's still wierd how he can hang out with others but expects naho to only be with him??? he is wierdly possessive of naho and often comes of as condenscending .... and that statement of "average" was out of pocket .. he could have worded it better..
